Coach Dennis Allen said Friday "the plan" is for Winston (knee) to start Week 1, Rod Walker of The Times-Picayune reports.

Allen noted that there are still "a lot of days between now and Week 1," but that "we certainly like where [Winston] is right now" as the quarterback works his way back from a left ACL tear. Winston has already begun rehabbing from surgery undergone last November, and while his real recovery progress may not be made apparent until he begins taking reps in offseason workouts, it currently looks like the 28-year-old is on track to open the season. New Orleans' offense could take a step forward in the 2022 campaign, with two first-round rookies joining the fold. Left tackle Trevor Penning will help keep Winston upright following the departure of Terron Armstead (knee), while former Ohio State standout Chris Olave provides another legitimate option in the passing game alongside presumed top target Michael Thomas (ankle).

Following the Patriots' selection of Bailey Zappe in the fourth round of the recent NFL Draft, Stidham has added competition for a roster spot, Matthew Fairburn of The Athletic reports.

With veteran Brian Hoyer also in the backup mix behind starter Mac Jones, it looks like Stidham could be the odd man out in the Patriots' signal-caller equation, with Zappe's spot with the team presumably secure. Stidham, a 2019 fourth-rounder out of Auburn, is approaching the final year of his rookie contract.

Murray will be without DeAndre Hopkins to start the 2022 season after the NFL handed the wide receiver a six-game suspension Monday for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances, The Athletic reports.

Murray's offseason thus far hasn't been lacking in drama, as the quarterback notably expressed dissatisfaction with both the Cardinals and his contract. The team picked up the fifth-year option on his rookie deal April 27 and then appeased him by acquiring wide receiver and college teammate Marquise Brown from the Ravens last Thursday. Brown was set to join Hopkins atop the depth chart at receiver, but the former now should serve as Murray's No. 1 option for the first six contests of the upcoming campaign. Aside from Brown, Murray will have wideouts A.J. Green, Rondale Moore and Antoine Wesley, tight ends Zach Ertz and Trey McBride and running James Conner to work with as pass-catching options once Week 1 arrives. Whether Murray can fare better sans Hopkins this year versus 2021 is uncertain, but as Field Yates of ESPN notes, the signal-caller's completion percentage dropped seven points (72 to 65), while his yards per attempt went down 2.2 YPA (8.8 to 6.6) when Hopkins wasn't on the field last season.

Hogan agreed to a contract with the Texans on Wednesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

After being cut by the Titans following the 2022 NFL Draft last weekend, Hogan didn't take long to find a best on line casino best on line casino. As expected, Hurts is ready to go for the start of OTAs after electing to undergo surgery on the left ankle injury he battled late in the 2021 campaign. A healthy Hurts paired with best on line casinoly acquired No. 1 wideout A.J. Brown should brighten the quarterback's fantasy prospects heading into 2022.

Mariota is expected to be the Falcons' starting quarterback to start the 2022 regular season, Josh Kendall of The Athletic reports.

Mariota signed a two-year contract with the Falcons at the end of March and was the de facto starter with Matt Ryan off to Indianaplis for a third-round pick. However, Desmond Ridder fell to Atlanta in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft, sparking speculation that perhaps the rookie could compete for the No. 1 spot, but after the draft coach Arthur Smith said, "With Marcus being the veteran, that's the way it'll go for now." Even with the loss of Calvin Ridley (suspension), Mariota likely will have strong expectations in his first season with Atlanta after they drafted pass catchers with top-10 overall picks in back-to-back years, but the Falcons offense now features a trio of dynamic playmakers in Drake London (ankle), Kyle Pitts and Cordarrelle Patterson.

Michel signed a contract with the Dolphins on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

The veteran running back will bring depth to a backfield that already includes Chase Edmonds, Myles Gaskin and Salvon Ahmed. Michel appeared in 17 games a season ago with the Rams, rushing for 845 yards and four scores while hauling in 21 passes for 128 yards and one touchdown.

The Jets signed Knight as an undrafted free agent Friday, Ethan Greenberg of the Jets' official site reports.

Knight appeared in 12 games at NC State last year and rushed 140 times for 753 yards and three touchdowns while securing 21 of 25 targets for 156 yards. He'll compete for a role with the Jets in 2022, and he could be a candidate to serve as a returner in the NFL.

In the wake of the recent NFL Draft, Ingram continues to slot in as Alvin Kamara's top backup, Katherine Terrell of The Athletic reports.

Terrell suggests that it seemed as though the Saints might add a running back in the draft, but instead the team opted to add depth on the front by signing Abram Smith as a UDFA. Also in the backup mix are Tony Jones and Dwayne Washington, but as things stand, Ingram appears to be next in line for carries in the event that Kamara misses time for any reason. It's still possible, however, that New Orleans brings in more competition and the 32-year-old Ingram will need to hold off challenges from the likes of Jones and Smith in the coming months in order to maintain his depth chart standing.

Drake is bouncing back well from the broken ankle he suffered last year, Tashan Reed and Vic Tafur of The Athletic report.

Drake appeared in 12 games with the Raiders last season prior to undergoing season-ending surgery on his broken right ankle. While it remains to be seen if he'll have any initial limitations in practice, barring any setbacks, the 28-year-old should be well past the injury ahead of Week 1. This coming season, Drake will reprise his complementary role in Las Vegas' backfield, a context that gives him a degree of PPR utility while working behind top early-down back Josh Jacobs. Also in the mix for running back touches are the versatile Brandon Bolden and 2022 fourth-rounder Zamir White. White's role out of the gate figures to hinge on his ability to improve as a receiver and display aptitude as a blocker, but for now we'd expect that Drake's experience and ability as a receiver should give him a place in the team's offense under best on line casino coach Josh McDaniels.

The Jets waived Walter on Friday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Walter finished the 2021 campaign with 26 rushes for 101 yards and a touchdown while catching two of three targets for nine yards across four appearances. It's possible New York opts to bring the 25-year-old back on its practice squad, but its running back room is now crowed with the addition of second-round pick Breece Hall.

Dillon (ribs) and Aaron Jones could split the work "50-50" in the Packers' backfield in 2022, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic suggests.

Jones played 52 percent of the snaps to Dillon's 43 percent in 2021, but with Dillon ascending, Schneidman believes those numbers will be even closer in the season ahead. Dillon's 2021 campaign was cut a couple quarters short by a broken rib, but no issues have been reported since, so he should be ready to go when the Packers begin offseason team activities later this month.

Montgomery was waived by the Jets on Monday, Ethan Greenberg of the team's official site reports.

Montgomery joined the Jets in August 2020 upon being waived by the Browns. After spending that season on the practice squad, Montgomery made his NFL debut in 2021, appearing in three games and catching three passes on six targets for 36 yards. The former Austin Peay product now will look to earn a shot elsewhere for the upcoming season.

Lenoir was waived by the Bears on Monday, Larry Mayer of the team's official site reports.

Lenoir had just signed with the Bears as an undrafted free agent last Friday. The former Southern Illinois product played in 13 games last season for the school, catching 61 passes for 876 yards and 10 touchdowns. He'll now look to earn a shot with another NFL franchise.

Landry isn't likely to re-sign with the Browns, according to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Landry was released in mid-March and visited with the Saints nine days later. No visits have been reported since then, but Landry also has been mentioned as a possibility for the Ravens, especially after they traded Marquise Brown to Arizona. The Browns reportedly view rookie third-round pick David Bell as an option for the slot, which could leave Donovan Peoples-Jones and Anthony Schwartz to compete for perimeter snaps opposite best on line casino No. 1 receiver Amari Cooper. The 29-year-old Landry finished last season with career lows for catches (52), targets (87), receiving yards (570), touchdowns (two), catches per game (4.3) and games played (12), though he did improve late in the year with a 25-325-2 receiving line over his final five appearances.

The Bears cut Scarver on Sunday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.

Scarver signed with the Bears as an undrafted free agent Friday, but he's been waived just two days later. The Utah State product was an All-American return specialist in college and will look for another opportunity elsewhere in the NFL.

Moore could be limited during the Chiefs' rookie OTAs due to a hamstring injury, Nate Taylor of The Athletic reports.

The 2022 second-round pick didn't have any major injuries pre-draft, so this hardly appears to be problematic. The Western Michigan product is expected to compete with Mecole Hardman and Marquez Valdes-Scantling for the No. 2 role opposite JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Westbrook-Ikhine believes he is prepared to step into a bigger role in the Titans' offense, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

The Titans' receiving corps was overhauled this offseason, as both A.J. Brown and Julio Jones are no longer on the roster. While the team acquired Robert Woods (knee) and drafted Treylon Burks, Westbrook-Ikhine should be in a position to improve upon the 38 receptions he posted in 2021. He should begin the season on the field regularly in three-receiver sets and could be in line to share snaps out of the slot with Woods.

Dillon was waived by the Jets on Monday, Ethan Greenberg of the team's official site reports.

Dillon re-upped with the Jets in January on a reserve/future contract after joining the squad in December, which followed his departure from the Vikings. The 25-year-old had spent the better part of the last three seasons with Minnesota, appearing in a total of four games and earning one reception on one target for six yards in that time span.

Ruckert, who has been suffering from a foot injury, will be re-evaluated next week to determine the extent the rookie will be able to participate in the Jets' rookie OTAs, Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York reports.

The quote suggests the Jets are "hopeful" the 2022 third-round pick will be able to participate during any of the Jets' spring optional practices throughout the spring, including rookie OTAs. New York signed both C.J. Uzomah and Tyler Conklin this offseason to bolster a previously porous TE corps, so any missed time could put the Ohio State product even further behind in his quest for quality snaps during his rookie campaign.

Hudson (ankle) currently projects to be fourth on the Titans' tight-end depth chart, Ben Arthur of the Tennessean reports.

Hudson ended the 2021 season on injured reserve and also missed six weeks earlier in the season with a related issue. He was active for only two games and could be on the roster bubble heading into 2022, particularly after the team selected Chig Okonkwo in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

Following the recent NFL Draft, Blanton and Brycen Hopkins continue to follow Tyler Higbee on the Rams' tight end depth chart, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.

Meanwhile, 2021 fourth-rounder Jacob Harris is bouncing back from a knee injury, but at this stage Blanton -- who is presumably past a shoulder issue that slowed him in Super Bowl LVI -- and Hopkins remain next up for tight end targets in the event that Higbee misses time this season.

Following the 2022 NFL Draft, Keene (knee) and Devin Asiasi remain in the Patriots' backup tight end mix, Matthew Fairburn of The Athletic reports.

While neither of the two 2020 third-rounders are threats to supplant the team's top two tight ends, Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith, the Patriots would no doubt like to see added contributions from Keene and/or Asiasi. Since being taken 101st overall out of Virginia Tech, Keene has recorded just three catches for 16 yards in six regular-season NFL games. The 23-year-old spent last season on IR, but he's presumably past the knee injury that landed him there and will look to reclaim his roster spot ahead of the 2022 campaign.

John (ankle) faces added competition for a roster spot following the Giants' selection of Daniel Bellinger in the recent NFL Draft, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

The 6-foot-7, 220-pounder landed on IR last season, but now that he's presumably past the ankle issue that landed him there, John will look to secure a depth tight end slot this coming season. Also in the mix behind projected starter Ricky Seals-Jones are Jordan Akins, Bellinger, Chris Myarick and Jake Hausmann.

The Panthers waived Hajrullahu on Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.

Hajrullahu spent time with the Cowboys and Panthers last year, appearing in a total of four contests. He closed the season as Carolina's kicker, appearing in its final three games after Zane Gonzalez was sidelined with a quadriceps injury. Hajrullahu connected on four of five field-goal attempts and made all eight of his extra-point tries for Carolina.

The Browns have waived Blewitt, Dan Labbe of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

The same applies to Chase McLaughlin, with the Browns having selected Cade York with the 124th overall pick in the recently completed NFL Draft. In two appearances last season with Washington, Blewitt made two of five field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries.

The Browns have waived McLaughlin, Dan Labbe of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

The team also waived Chris Blewitt, moves prompted by the Browns' selection of fellow kicker Cade York in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. McLaughlin, who made 15 of his 21 field-goal attempts and 36 of 37 extra-point tries in 2021 (his only season with Cleveland) now will look for an opportunity to compete for a roster spot elsewhere.

McLaughlin will be challenged for the starting placekicker job after Cleveland selected Cade York in the fourth round of the 2022 Draft, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

McLaughlin appeared to stabilize the Browns' kicking woes early in 2021 but faded in the second half. He converted six of 12 field-goal attempts from Week 7 and beyond and finished just 4-for-10 from between 40 and 49 yards. Enter York, the first kicker drafted and considered the top one on the board, who was successful on 15 of 18 attempts for LSU last season, including 5-for-7 from 50-plus yards. McLaughlin enters offseason activities as the incumbent, but the job will be York's to lose.

The Browns selected York in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, 124th overall.

Kicker selections are rarely exciting, but York was a good one at LSU and boasts range at or pushing 60 yards. York's field goal percentage was 77.8 percent or better in each of his three seasons, so he has both range and accuracy as he steps into the Cleveland lineup.

Patterson signed a one-year deal with the Lions on Tuesday, Howard Balzer of SI.com reports.

Patterson was an exclusive rights free agent, who spent time with the Vikings and Patriots before finding a best on line casino with the Lions in his rookie season. The 22-year-old served as Detroit's kicker for seven games, making 13 of 14 field goal attempts and all 16 of his extra-point attempts. With Austin Seibert (hip) and Aldrick Rosas still on the Lions' roster, Patterson will still have to earn the starting job next season.

Mack (undisclosed) was waived by the Bears on Monday, Larry Mayer of the Bears' official site reports.

Mack made his NFL debut in 2021, appearing in three games for the Bears while recording three tackles. Since Mack was waived with an injury designation, he'll revert to IR once he clears waivers.

March-Lillard was released by the Raiders on Monday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.

March-Lillard signed with the Raiders in January but has been let go in favor of the signing of fellow linebacker Kenny Young. March-Lillard spent time with the Titans, 49ers and Saints last season, appearing in a total of two games. The six-year veteran previously had a three-year stretch from 2018 to 2020 with the Cowboys where he was a regular contributor on special teams. He'll now look to earn a spot elsewhere for next season.

Young signed a contract with the Raiders on Monday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

Young split time between the Rams and Broncos last year due to a midseason trade that sent him from Los Angeles to Denver for a 2024 sixth-round selection. He played in a total of 13 games, recording 46 tackles (27 solo), two sacks and a pass defensed, with a forced fumble and recovery. He'll likely fill a rotational role in the the Raiders' linebacker unit. In a corresponding move, the team cut Justin March-Lillard.

The Packers signed Jones on Monday.

Jones was a 2021 UDFA and spent time with the Falcons, Dolphins and Titans last year. The Mississippi State product joined the Packers for a tryout during rookie minicamp and impressed enough to get an extended look.

The Titans signed Mabin on Monday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.

Mabin appeared in five games for the Titans last year, totaling 162 defensive snaps, 10 tackles and one pass deflection. The undrafted journeyman likely will garner a similar role during the 2022 campaign.

The Giants released Bradberry on Monday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

Bradberry was a productive member of the Giants secondary over the last two seasons, registering 101 tackles, seven interceptions, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. However, per Duggan, New York can save over $10 million in much-needed cap space by releasing the 2016 second-round pick ahead of June 1. While the team wasn't able to trade the 28-year-old, he's expected to be heavily sought after when he hits free agency.
